Late summer and autumn provides the opportunity to make jam and preserves for the winter and beyond.  We've been busy over the last few weeks making Blueberry jam, Raspberry jam and Rowan & Apple jelly.

The Raspberries are from local fruit farms- Aberdeenshire and Perthshire are prime soft fruit growing areas; the Blueberries are from the supermarket and the Rowan (Sorbus) berries are from the garden.

We've now got a cupboard full of jars!
