An incendiary moment

Yesterday evening's sunset over the Aberdeenshire countryside - a stunningly rich blaze of colour....

...the intensity of which charged the whole sky with incendiary shades and changed the quality of the air around us as we took an evening walk.  One of those evenings which take the breath away.

  1. I was driving westward on the A90 from Dundee to Perth, wasn't so nice looking that way.

  2. I bet it was quite hard work looking into it Owen, the moments around true sunset were pretty bright

  3. Ian, it's been a most pleasant read, catching up with your adventures. I would say you have experienced a good number of "golden times" - on land, in the mountains, in on the water. Severe gale force winds, and skies on fire, are the "punctuation marks" for events that become enduring memories. So glad you share them! See you soon. Duncan and Joan.
